Open source DBA

Tired of fixing the same broken things over and over?

Open Source DBA at Hieda

In too many teams, databases are nobody’s job, until they’re everyone’s problem. Slow queries, missing indexes, last-minute fire drills… sounds familiar?

At Hieda, we give teams peace of mind with open-source databases (such as MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL or MongoDB) that just work. We build and run secure, scalable, and automated data environments  so developers can focus on building features, not fighting outages.

And we don’t just optimise databases. We build a team you actually want to be part of. We keep things sharp and focused  but also kind, collaborative and fun. Feedback is part of our daily rhythm. We learn from each other, jump in when someone’s stuck, and make time for proper laughs and fun activities.

Curious by nature? You’ll feel right at home. We test new technologies early, share what we learn, and make sure you’ve got the space and support to grow into a top-tier expert.

We don't wait for problems. We prevent them.
And we're looking for someone like you to help us do it.

Your mission

You’ll work hands-on with customers who want to fix their database headaches once and for all. Whether you’re diving into a failing migration or setting up a fresh environment from scratch, you’ll be their go-to expert.

You’ll also collaborate closely with the rest of the Hieda team. We tackle problems together, share knowledge openly, and always aim to leave things better than we found them.
